The 2026 Trnava mayoral election is currently scheduled to be held on October 24, 2026. This market will resolve according to the candidate who becomes the next Mayor of Trnava as a result of this election. Temporary, interim, or placeholder mayors appointed before the election will not be considered. If the result of this election isn't known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, the market will resolve to "Other". This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Trnava, Trnava Region and Slovakia, including the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic (https://volby.statistics.sk/).
The open mayoral seat in Trnava after incumbent Peter Bročka confirmed in late April 2026 that he would not seek re-election has produced a fragmented field ahead of Slovakia’s fall municipal vote. Branislav Baroš, backed by KDH and the Trnava pre každého movement and runner-up in 2022, holds the narrowest market edge on continuity with stronger emphasis on transport and housing changes, while vice-mayor Eva Nemčovská, running independently under the Lepšia Trnava banner and positioned as the continuity candidate, trails closely behind. Andrea Čajková of Trnava+ and Ľubica Horváthová of Demokrati remain distant in pricing, reflecting limited coalition consolidation to date. Trader consensus remains tight because no candidate has yet secured broad cross-bloc support or released decisive polling that would separate the leaders before ballots are cast.
