This market will resolve to “Yes” if the named individual wins and accepts the 2028 nomination of the Republican Party for U.S. president. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican Party sources. Any replacement of the Republican nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.

The Republican presidential nomination for 2028 remains closely contested between Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and J.D. Vance, whose shares of trader consensus sit within a few points of each other. This narrow gap reflects uncertainty over the party's future direction, with Vance drawing support from established conservative networks and his prior administration role while Kennedy attracts traders focused on distinct policy priorities such as regulatory approaches and voter outreach. Factors that could widen separation include outcomes in the 2026 midterms, early endorsements from party leaders, primary filing deadlines, and shifts in polling among key voting blocs. Formal campaign announcements and convention rules will further shape positioning ahead of the 2028 cycle.
