  • Will Hsu Shu-hua win the next Nantou County Magistrate election?96¢96%
  • Will Wen Shih-cheng win the next Nantou County Magistrate election?4¢4%

Hsu Shu-hua, the incumbent Kuomintang magistrate seeking re-election in the November 28, 2026, Nantou County magistrate race, holds a commanding lead in trader consensus driven by her established record in local infrastructure, agricultural support, long-term care initiatives, and transportation improvements such as the happiness bus service. Recent campaign activity, including joint headquarters launches with township candidates and high-profile endorsements from KMT figures, has reinforced her position in a county held by the party since 2005. The main challenger, Democratic Progressive Party candidate Wen Shih-cheng, trails significantly amid limited reported momentum shifts. Late developments such as turnout surprises, major policy reversals, or external events could still alter the outcome before voting concludes.
