Diplomatic momentum around Ukraine's security guarantees and ongoing peace negotiations continues to shape trader assessments for visits by key figures through year-end. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and Council President António Costa traveled to Kyiv in February for the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion, joining a Coalition of the Willing meeting with President Zelenskyy. UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a July trip during his final weeks in office to discuss military support, while U.S. congressional leaders conducted oversight visits in June. U.S. envoys and administration officials remain central to trader pricing given their roles in bilateral talks, with recent Zelenskyy meetings abroad highlighting active shuttle diplomacy. Scheduled summits and potential follow-up visits by European and North American counterparts could still influence remaining probabilities before December 31.
