Incumbent Pat Harrigan holds a commanding position in the North Carolina 10th congressional district race due to the area's consistent Republican lean, reflected in recent presidential margins exceeding 16 points and multiple forecaster ratings of solid or safe Republican. Harrigan secured over 87 percent in his March 2026 primary and maintains a substantial fundraising advantage exceeding $1.3 million compared to Democrat Ashley Bell's roughly $100,000. Polling averages show Harrigan ahead by 14 to 17 points ahead of the November 3 general election. Trader consensus at these levels aligns with historical district performance and incumbency advantages, though late developments such as unexpected turnout shifts, major scandals, or health-related withdrawals could still alter outcomes before ballots are cast.
