Incumbent Democrat Morgan McGarvey faces Republican nominee Maria Teresa Rodriguez in Kentucky's 3rd congressional district on November 3, 2026. The district covers the Louisville metro area, a region with consistent Democratic support in recent House elections, including McGarvey's 61.9% victory in 2024. McGarvey advanced unopposed in the Democratic primary while Rodriguez secured the Republican nomination in May 2026. Trader consensus at 94.5% for the Democratic Party reflects the district's partisan lean, McGarvey's incumbency advantage, and limited competitive signals in fundraising or polling. A late scandal, significant health development, or unusually strong Republican turnout could still alter the outcome before Election Day.
