Gubernatorial elections are currently scheduled to be held in Guerrero on June 6, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed candidate who wins the 2027 Guerrero gubernatorial elections. Any interim or caretaker Governor will not qualify. If the results are not known definitively by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Other”. This market will resolve based on the results of this election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official results as reported by government sources of Guerrero and Mexico, including the Electoral Institute of Guerrero and the National Electoral Institute of Mexico.
Beatriz Mojica Morga and Esthela Damián Peralta lead the Guerrero 2027 gubernatorial market at 38% and 35.9% respectively, reflecting Morena’s commanding position in statewide polling averages near 50% while internal party surveys show the two frontrunners in a tight contest for the nomination. Mojica, a sitting senator who took leave to campaign full-time, has topped recent Morena preference polls, while Damián, former federal legal counsel who resigned in April 2026 to run, remains competitive. The election on June 6, 2027, features no re-election for the incumbent, and the Morena nominee is widely viewed as the presumptive favorite given the party’s structural advantage. Lower-priced opposition figures such as Manuel Añorve Baños and Mario Moreno Arcos trail because surveys place their parties well behind. Trader prices track these early internal dynamics and could shift with Morena’s upcoming coordinator selection process or new surveys.
