This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for United States Senator from Delaware. If no 2026 Delaware Republican Senate Primary takes place, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the first announcement of the results from the Delaware Republican party, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.
Michael Katz holds a commanding position in the Delaware Republican U.S. Senate primary, scheduled for September 15, 2026, due to early institutional support including nomination by the state party committee and endorsements from former U.S. Attorney Julianne Murray and multiple Republican legislators. His background as a former Democratic state senator, physician, and 2024 independent Senate candidate has enabled coalition-building across party lines in a state where Republicans have not won a Senate seat since 1994. Trader consensus reflected in current pricing aligns with this organizational edge over military veteran John Shulli, whose campaign emphasizes national security and energy policy but lacks comparable party infrastructure. A late scandal, unusually low turnout, or unexpected primary-day surge by Shulli could still alter the outcome before certification.
