This market will resolve to the contestant who comes in second-place on Big Brother season 28. If Big Brother season 28 concludes without a second-place finisher, or if Big Brother season 28 has otherwise not concluded by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET this market will resolve to "Other". The named individuals will be primarily ranked by order of elimination. If two or more individuals are eliminated exactly simultaneously, ties will be broken by alphabetical order of the individuals' listed first names. This market will resolve to the individual that occupies the second-highest finishing position after applying this ranking. This market will remain open until the conclusion of the season. The resolution source for this market will be the official broadcast of the final episode of Big Brother season 28.
Traders have clustered Barrett Pfeiffer, Dee Valladares, and Angela Murray near the top of the Big Brother Season 28 runner-up market because each combines strong social positioning with proven competition ability and alliance insulation in a shrinking endgame field. Pfeiffer benefits from a low-key superfan profile and consistent Toolshed/Crossovers ties that keep him off most radars, while Valladares leverages her Survivor 45 win and multiple HOH reigns for strategic leverage. Murray draws on prior BB26 experience and veteran alliances that have survived recent flips. Recent evictions of Mallory Aurichio and Haley Thogmartin, plus Drew Campbell’s latest HOH, have narrowed targets and reinforced these three as the most credible threats to reach the final two without winning outright. With the finale approaching in early October, any shift in jury-stage alliances or blockbuster outcomes could quickly reorder the tight 29–35% implied probabilities.
