The dominant market consensus around Bachelorette Season 22 resolving to “Other (Season Cancelled)” stems from ABC’s March 2026 decision to shelve the entire season three days before its planned premiere. A newly surfaced 2023 video of lead Taylor Frankie Paul in a domestic violence incident involving ex Dakota Mortensen prompted Disney Entertainment Television to pull the episodes, citing support for the family. With filming already completed and no finale broadcast by late October 2026, traders see little realistic path to an on-air resolution before the market’s November 30 cutoff. Earlier speculation about a possible summer release never materialized, and ABC has remained noncommittal despite Paul’s public desire for the footage to air and a fan petition exceeding 20,000 signatures. An upset would require an unexpected network reversal and rapid airing of the finale within the next month.
This market will resolve according to the winner of The Bachelorette Season 22. The winner is defined as the contestant who receives the final rose from the Bachelorette. Any changes in relationship status after the final rose ceremony including the "After the Final Rose" segment will not be considered. If no rose is given, or the finale ends without a final rose ceremony, this market will resolve to "Other". If the final episode of the bachelorette is not publicly available by November 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The official resolution source will be the finale episode of The Bachelorette Season 22.
