This market will resolve to “Yes” if the listed actor is officially announced as the next James Bond actor by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. This market will resolve based on the first official announcement of who will be the next James Bond, regardless of any changes made thereafter. If no actor is announced as the next Bond within the timeframe, this market will resolve to "No Bond chosen". The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Amazon MGM Studios. However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
Recent podcast comments from Richard Osman have propelled Jack Lowden into the lead by highlighting his “Daniel Craig energy” and strong consideration for the role, boosting his market position amid a tight race with Callum Turner. The official casting search, now led by Nina Gold with auditions advancing into August, keeps multiple British actors in contention while the “no announcement yet” outcome reflects the deliberate pace under Amazon MGM and producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman. Turner’s consistent frontrunner status stems from earlier buzz and public profile, but Lowden’s surge underscores how unverified insider signals can rapidly shift trader sentiment in this wide-open field ahead of a potential end-of-2026 reveal.
