Spotify curates a playlist of the most streamed songs in the U.S. and updates it on Fridays to reflect streaming data for the previous week, beginning on the preceding Friday and ending on Thursday. This market will resolve according to the most-streamed song in the U.S. on Spotify for the week labeled September 4. If Spotify does not release its top song for the week labeled September 4 by September 5, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will default to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Spotify. The Weekly Top Songs - USA chart can be found on open.spotify.com under the "Charts" heading. Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands overwhelming trader consensus at 95.9% implied probability because it sits atop the Spotify US weekly chart with nearly 9.6 million streams—well clear of the nearest competitors—and has logged a record 19 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track’s sustained streaming momentum, radio airplay gains, and cultural ubiquity as the summer’s defining country-pop crossover have created a wide lead that has held for months. An upset would require an unprecedented late-week surge from a rival such as Olivia Rodrigo’s “the cure” or a surprise new release closing the multi-million-stream gap before the September 4 chart locks, an outcome historical patterns and current metrics make highly improbable.
