The Mississauga mayoral contest remains tightly contested one week before the October 26 vote, with incumbent Carolyn Parrish holding a modest edge in trader pricing amid polling volatility. Recent surveys show Bonnie Crombie, Alvin Tedjo, and Dipika Damerla clustered within a few points of Parrish among decided voters, reflecting a three-way dynamic that has tightened since summer. Final debates in mid-October highlighted differences on policing costs, arts funding, and property taxes, while record advance voting underscored high engagement. Traders appear to assign Parrish an incumbency premium despite the fragmented field and undecided voters, though any late shifts in support among the top four candidates could quickly alter implied probabilities ahead of election night.
