The 2027 Record of the Year race remains unusually open this early, with trader consensus reflected in the even spread across numerous placeholder outcomes and a cluster of named contenders all below 35% implied probability. Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” leads the specific options on the strength of its multi-year chart dominance, Dean’s recent Best New Artist win, and traditional Grammy appeal for polished soul-pop craftsmanship. RAYE’s “Where Is My Husband!” follows with viral TikTok momentum and ambitious big-band production, while Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” brings record-setting country crossover longevity and broad commercial metrics. Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” and Bruno Mars entries sit lower amid a crowded field that also includes Olivia Rodrigo and Rosalía tracks. Nominations on November 16 will clarify the final ballot and test how guild and critic support translate into voter sentiment for the February ceremony.
The GRAMMY Awards are presented annually by the Recording Academy. For the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards, nominations are scheduled for November 16, 2026, and the ceremony for February 7, 2027. This market will resolve according to the listed track that wins Record of the Year at the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards. If a track is not officially nominated for Record of the Year when the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards nominees are announced, the corresponding market will immediately resolve to "No". In case of a tie for the winner, this market will resolve in favor of the nominated track whose listed title comes first in alphabetical order. If, for any reason, no winner is declared by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be the television broadcast of the awards and the Grammy website (https://www.grammy.com/); however, other credible reporting may be used.
