Florida's 11th Congressional District remains a solidly Republican seat following redistricting and the retirement of longtime Representative Daniel Webster. Joe Strada secured the GOP nomination in the August 2026 primary after a narrow victory and recount over former state lawmaker Carey Baker, bolstered by substantial self-funding and business background. Democrat James Pericola advanced from his party's primary with prior federal government and congressional staff experience. Voter registration heavily favors Republicans, and independent ratings from Cook Political Report, Sabato's Crystal Ball, and others classify the race as safe or solid Republican. These factors underpin trader consensus on the general election outcome scheduled for November 3, 2026, with limited recent developments altering the structural partisan dynamics.
