Ryan Elijah holds the lead in the FL-07 House race as the Republican nominee in an open seat covering Seminole and Volusia counties, where mid-decade redistricting strengthened the district's Republican tilt. Elijah advanced from the August 18 primary by defeating incumbent Cory Mills, positioning him to consolidate party support ahead of the November 3 general election. Bale Dalton secured the Democratic nomination in the same primary but trails in forecasts and market pricing amid the district's baseline partisan lean. Recent activity includes campaign ads on taxes, tariffs, and military issues, plus early absentee ballot requests exceeding 25,000 in key counties, with early voting set to begin October 19. Independent voters and turnout patterns remain central to the final margin in this Likely Republican contest.
