This market will resolve to “Yes” if John Fetterman ceases to be U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of John Fetterman's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from John Fetterman and the U.S. government; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
A September 4 Wall Street Journal report detailing Senator John Fetterman’s limited engagement with constituent meetings, committee hearings, and Pennsylvania events has triggered public calls for his resignation from fellow Pennsylvania Democrats, including former Representative Conor Lamb. The reporting, based on former staff accounts and internal records, highlights his focus on Israel-related advocacy and media appearances over routine Senate work, with his term running through January 2029. No resignation has been announced or filed, and official Senate records confirm his continued service. Former staffers plan additional disclosures when the Senate reconvenes in mid-September. Trader consensus assigns low probability to departure before year-end, reflecting the absence of confirmed intent or procedural triggers despite intraparty pressure.
