Alberto Núñez Feijóo holds a commanding lead in trader consensus ahead of Spain’s November 29 snap election, reflecting consistent polling advantages for his People’s Party over Pedro Sánchez’s Socialists and the broader fragmentation of left-wing alliances. Recent developments include the failure of far-left parties to form a unified national ticket, ongoing coalition talks between the PP and Vox to secure parliamentary majorities, and Sánchez’s unsuccessful housing decrees that highlighted opposition strength. Feijóo’s positioning as the likely head of a center-right government after eight years of Socialist rule has reinforced market pricing. Scenarios that could alter this outcome include a significant late swing in voter turnout, successful last-minute left coordination, or unexpected shifts in regional strongholds that prevent a workable PP-Vox majority.
