This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Nebraska. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Nebraska, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

The closely contested Nebraska Senate race between Republican incumbent Pete Ricketts and independent Dan Osborn, with recent polls showing margins under 6 points, is sustaining trader expectations for total general election turnout near 725,000–775,000 votes. Midterm cycles typically produce lower participation than presidential years, and the lack of a Democratic nominee on the November 3 ballot may further limit mobilization among some voters. Offsetting factors include Osborn’s strong 2024 showing, ongoing campaign activity, and early voting that begins October 5, which could lift engagement if the race remains tight through fall. Primary turnout of 28.5% in May provides a low baseline, leaving room for shifts based on national conditions and get-out-the-vote efforts in the final weeks.
