This market will resolve to “Yes” if the named individual wins and accepts the 2028 nomination of the Republican Party for U.S. president. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of official Republican Party sources. Any replacement of the Republican nominee before election day will not change the resolution of the market.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and J.D. Vance remain the clear frontrunners in the 2028 Republican presidential nomination market, trading within two points amid uncertainty over the post-midterm landscape. As sitting vice president, Vance benefits from high visibility, Trump administration ties, and consistent polling leads among GOP voters, though his support has fluctuated with early primary snapshots showing Rubio gaining ground in some states. Kennedy, serving as HHS secretary, draws trader interest through his MAHA policy focus and crossover profile, despite public statements ruling out a bid. With no formal announcements, Trump’s eventual signals, 2026 midterm results, and any shifts in Senate or cabinet dynamics could widen or close the gap before primary voting begins.
