A by-election for the United Kingdom parliamentary constituency of Holborn and St Pancras is expected to be held in 2026 following the announced resignation of incumbent Sir Keir Starmer. This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the Holborn and St Pancras parliamentary by-election. If the election results are not known definitively by June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting. In case of ambiguity, this market will resolve solely based on official election results as published by Camden Council (https://www.camden.gov.uk/).

Labour’s candidate selection process, due to conclude on 9 September, centres on Sagal Abdi-Wali, the Camden council leader with deep local roots, while the Greens have accelerated their campaign after Zack Polanski confirmed his intention to stand on 3 September. The contest remains closely balanced because the seat’s left-leaning electorate has shown openness to Green advances in recent local results and national polling, yet Labour retains strong constituency organisation and an unbroken hold since 1983. Traders appear to price the outcome as a Labour-Green duel, with limited room for other candidates. A firm by-election date, formal candidate confirmations, or shifts in national party standings under Prime Minister Andy Burnham could widen or narrow the gap ahead of polling.
