This market will resolve to "Yes" if Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, is removed from power for any length of time between December 2, 2025 and the listed date, ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez will be considered removed from power if he announces his resignation, is dismissed, detained, disqualified, or otherwise loses his position or is prevented from fulfilling his duties as Prime Minister of Spain within this market's timeframe. The primary resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.

Spain's minority Socialist-led government under Pedro Sánchez dissolved parliament and called a snap general election for November 29 after right-wing parties blocked housing reform decrees aimed at curbing evictions and speculation. The move followed nationwide protests triggered by a high-profile eviction case and came amid persistent polling deficits for the PSOE, which trails the conservative People's Party and its potential Vox allies. Recent deadly train crashes have further shifted campaign focus toward government competence on infrastructure and security, compounding earlier pressures from corruption cases involving party figures and Sánchez's wife. Formation of a new government after the vote would determine whether Sánchez remains prime minister, with coalition negotiations likely extending into December or beyond depending on seat totals.

This market will resolve to “Yes” if Pedro Sánchez ceases to be Prime Minister of Spain for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Pedro Sánchez continuing as Prime Minister in an acting or caretaker capacity will not be considered a cessation of office. An announcement of Pedro Sánchez's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. If the specified individual is detained, effectively removed from the specified position, or otherwise permanently prevented from fulfilling the duties of the specified position within this market’s timeframe, it will qualify for a “Yes” resolution. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Pedro Sánchez and the government of Spain; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
