Google’s Search & other revenue has shown resilience in recent quarters, with 17% growth to $63.3 billion in Q2 2026, driven by AI Overviews and the expanding AI Mode feature that boost query volume, user engagement, and ad performance across retail and financial verticals. Full-stack AI integration, including Gemini models, has improved ad relevance and pricing while maintaining high operating margins in the Google Services segment, countering earlier concerns about chatbot disruption. Cloud backlog exceeding $500 billion highlights broader momentum, though search remains the core cash generator. Traders are watching the late-October 2026 earnings release for confirmation of continued high-teens growth amid ongoing AI investments.
