Beth Van Duyne’s commanding position in the TX-24 House race stems from her incumbency in a solidly Republican district, where forecasters rate the seat Safe or Solid Republican ahead of the November 3 general election. She secured her party’s nomination without opposition in the March primary and holds a substantial fundraising edge, with over $2.5 million raised compared to Democratic nominee Kevin Burge’s roughly $210,000 as of mid-2026. Burge advanced through a May runoff but faces structural challenges in a district spanning parts of Tarrant and Dallas counties with consistent Republican voting patterns. Trader consensus reflects these factors, though late shifts could arise from national midterm dynamics, turnout surges, or unforeseen campaign developments before early voting begins October 19.
