  • Will the Republican Party win the TX-01 House seat?97¢97%
  • Will the Democratic Party win the TX-01 House seat?2¢2%

Incumbent Nathaniel Moran holds a commanding position in Texas's 1st Congressional District due to the seat's strong Republican lean, reflected in consistent "Solid Republican" ratings from major forecasters and the party's dominant historical margins in the East Texas district. Moran advanced unopposed through the March 2026 Republican primary while raising over $1.8 million, compared to Democratic nominee Yolanda Prince's limited fundraising after her May runoff win. With the general election set for November 3, 2026, trader consensus aligns with the district's partisan baseline and the absence of competitive polling or notable campaign momentum for the challenger. Late developments such as a major scandal, health issue, or significant national political shift could still influence the outcome before Election Day.
