This market will resolve according to how much "The Odyssey" Weekend Box Office will gross domestically on its 7th weekend. The "Daily Box Office Performance" figures found on the "Box Office" tab on this movie's The Numbers (https://www.the-numbers.com/) page will be used to resolve this market once the values for the 3-day weekend (August 28 - 30) are final (i.e., not studio estimates). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Please note, this market will resolve according to the The Numbers figures provided under Weekend Box Office Performance for the 3-day weekend (which typically includes Thursday's previews), regardless of whether domestic refers to only the USA, or to USA and Canada, etc. If there is ambiguity as to whether the resolution source's figures are final, this market will remain open until both https://www.boxofficemojo.com/ and https://www.the-numbers.com/ have confirmed their finalized figures. If there is no final data available by September 4, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, another credible resolution source will be chosen.

Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” has demonstrated exceptional staying power through its sixth weekend, grossing $19.71 million domestically (down just 17% from the prior frame) en route to a $539 million+ domestic total and nearly $1.45 billion worldwide. This performance reflects strong word-of-mouth for the R-rated Matt Damon-led epic, sustained Imax and premium large-format demand, and favorable theater counts that have supported solid daily holds into late August. The film’s legs (currently tracking around 4.45x) and consistent drops in the 17–26% range position the 7th weekend (Aug 28–30) for a likely tally in the mid-teens, aligning with trader emphasis on the 14.5–16 million range as the consensus outcome. Recent Tuesday figures near $3 million further support a gradual rather than sharp decline, though competition and seasonal softening could influence the final number.
