Priska Madelyn Nugroho enters this ITF W15 Tianjin 4 hard-court semifinal as the clear favorite against Jiangxue Han, driven by her superior WTA ranking (395 vs. 876) and stronger recent form, including a dominant 90% win rate in her last 10 matches across hard courts. Nugroho has navigated the draw efficiently with straight-set and three-set victories over Kawaguchi, Matsuda, and Zheng, while maintaining consistency on the surface where she holds a career edge. Han, a local Chinese player, has shown momentum by advancing via a retirement win and two three-set triumphs over Kobori and Lee, but trails significantly in head-to-head results after a lopsided 2025 loss to Nugroho on indoor hard. Both players compete at this lower-tier event with limited rest factors, though home-crowd support could provide Han a modest boost in what remains a mismatch on paper.
