Han Shi enters this W15 Tianjin 4 semifinal as the clear favorite on hard courts, holding a 127-spot ranking edge at No. 262 over Adkar’s No. 389 and boasting superior recent results including multiple 2026 hard-court titles. Shi has dropped just one set while advancing to the semifinals with straight-set wins over lower-ranked locals, while Adkar has produced dominant scores in her three victories but faces a tougher stylistic test after losing their only prior meeting 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 on the same surface in June. Trader consensus reflects Shi’s stronger overall win rate this season and home-country comfort, tempered by Adkar’s ongoing recovery momentum and potential for upsets in lower-tier ITF events.
