In the upcoming MLB game between the Chicago White Sox and Houston Astros, scheduled for September 3 at 2:10PM ET: This market will resolve to "Chicago White Sox" if the Chicago White Sox win the game. This market will resolve to "Houston Astros" if the Houston Astros win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
The Houston Astros host the Chicago White Sox in a late-season matchup with both clubs leading their respective divisions entering play. Hunter Brown’s strong recent starts and lower ERA give Houston a clear edge on the mound against Luis Castillo, whose higher walk and home-run rates have limited effectiveness. Multiple injuries have thinned both rotations and bullpens, including absences for key Astros like Carlos Correa and several White Sox pitchers on the IL. The White Sox hold a slim AL Central lead while the Astros sit atop the AL West, with home-field advantage and a favorable season series history supporting trader consensus around the Astros as favorites. Recent form shows both teams competitive, though road performance and bullpen reliability remain variables.
