Elsa Jacquemot faces Alicia Dudeney in the W100 Wrexham quarterfinal on indoor hard courts, where the higher-ranked French player holds a ranking edge at No. 157 against the Briton at No. 232. Dudeney enters with strong momentum after capturing a W35 title in Birmingham the prior week and extending a seven-match winning streak by outlasting seventh seed Susan Bandecchi in a three-set marathon on October 22. Jacquemot advanced with a straight-sets victory over Viktoria Morvayova but carries a mixed recent record on the surface. Home-crowd support and Dudeney’s current form could influence the outcome in this first meeting, while Jacquemot’s experience at higher WTA levels remains a key variable in the tightly contested matchup.
