Mid-season records through Week 8 show the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and Minnesota Vikings at 6-1, with the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Chicago Bears at 6-2, positioning these clubs favorably against preseason win totals. Quarterback injuries have altered trajectories, notably Lamar Jackson’s thumb issue and Tyler Huntley’s season-ending turf toe prompting the Ravens’ trade for Jacoby Brissett, while Sam Darnold and Deshaun Watson face short-term absences. Remaining schedules, divisional matchups, and rest advantages will determine whether current paces hold or shift implied probabilities on over/under contracts. Roster moves and official injury designations continue to influence trader consensus on final win totals.
