The San Antonio Spurs lead the 2027 NBA champion market at 22.5% implied probability due to Victor Wembanyama's continued dominance, including a recent 52-point, 24-rebound, eight-block outing that fueled a six-game win streak and 6-2 record. Oklahoma City Thunder sit at 14.5% behind their established young core of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren, despite early-season injuries thinning the rotation. The Philadelphia 76ers at 13.2% reflect an 8-1 Eastern Conference start bolstered by roster additions including LeBron James and Jaylen Brown. A wide-open field stems from multiple teams with strong young talent pipelines, recent draft classes, and competitive early records across conferences, where minor roster health shifts or breakout performances could quickly alter trader consensus on long-term title paths.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
