Carolina Hurricanes’ league-leading 13-3-2 start and plus-26 goal differential through 18 games have established them as the consensus favorite to reach 110 points, reflecting their status as defending champions and consistent regular-season performers. Early projections place them on pace for over 110 points, supported by strong special-teams play and depth. Minnesota Wild, Edmonton Oilers, and Boston Bruins follow closely with 25 points in 17 games each, buoyed by standout individual production—such as Connor McDavid’s historic scoring pace—and favorable goal differentials that sustain their momentum. New Jersey Devils have seen recent odds gains amid improved form. With the expanded 84-game schedule still in its first month, roster health, travel factors, and divisional matchups will continue shaping which additional clubs sustain the necessary points-per-game rate.
