Miami holds the top spot in the initial College Football Playoff rankings released November 3 after an 8-0 start, ahead of Georgia, Utah, and Indiana, all with at most one loss. Trader consensus on teams reaching the national championship game centers on these squads plus Notre Dame and several SEC programs, driven by recent results, strength of schedule, and conference positioning. Georgia maintains strong implied probability support despite a loss to Auburn, while Ohio State has slipped following defeats and quarterback concerns. Remaining regular-season games, including Miami at Notre Dame, and upcoming conference title implications will continue shaping playoff seeding and advancement paths through early December.
