Recent industry reporting from Hits Daily Double and TMZ has positioned SZA, Dua Lipa, and Tame Impala as the frontrunners for Coachella 2027 headlining slots, with the acts described as nearly confirmed following September negotiations. Dua Lipa and Tame Impala were first linked in early fall reports, while SZA filled the third spot more recently; all three have open April 2027 calendars consistent with festival routing. Tame Impala previously headlined in 2019, Dua Lipa would make her solo debut after a 2017 guest appearance, and SZA returns after main-stage sets in prior years and a 2026 surprise guest spot. Goldenvoice has not issued an official lineup for the April 9–11 and 16–18 dates at Empire Polo Club, leaving room for last-minute shifts if additional acts finalize or decline offers. Traders should monitor the next major announcement window for confirmation of the top bill and any supporting undercard details that could influence market resolution.
The 2027 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is scheduled to take place on the weekends of April 9 - 11, 2027 and April 16 - 18, 2027 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed individual is officially announced as a headliner for the 2027 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival. A headliner is defined as an act listed in the top-billing position (the largest-font, top-tier placement) on the official Coachella lineup announcement/poster. This market will resolve as soon as the official lineup is announced, regardless of whether the individual ultimately performs, is replaced, or the festival is later cancelled or postponed. If the official 2027 lineup has not been announced by January 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be the official Coachella lineup announcement (via coachella.com or the festival's official social media channels), however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.
