The Austrian wildcard defeated second seed Ashlyn Krueger in the round of 16 and overcame Veronika Erjavec in three tight sets earlier, showcasing improved serving and break-point conversion on the surface. Fiona Crawley, ranked No. 264, brings momentum after back-to-back victories over Simona Waltert and Ekaterina Ovcharenko to reach her first quarterfinal at this level, with a solid 20-9 record in 2026. No prior head-to-head exists, leaving surface-specific form, break opportunities, and stamina in potential three-setters as the key variables that could shift implied probabilities in either direction.
