Anouk Koevermans enters the US Open qualifying final with stronger recent momentum, having dispatched Carole Monnet and Linda Klimovicova in straight sets on outdoor hard courts while ranked around No. 228. The 22-year-old Dutch player holds a significant ranking advantage over 28-year-old left-hander Mariam Bolkvadze (No. 418) and has shown improved hard-court results in 2026. Bolkvadze, a former top-150 player with solid experience, also advanced convincingly by beating Erika Andreeva and Alevtina Ibragimova but faces a younger opponent in better current form. This first meeting on Flushing Meadows hard courts highlights Koevermans’ edge in ranking and recent qualifying performance as the primary drivers of trader consensus.
