If the Doge-1 12U Lunar Cube satellite successfully launches from its launch pad by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “Yes”. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No.” The outcome of any launch will be corroborated by examining official video provided by SpaceX (https://www.youtube.com/c/SpaceX), as well as secondary video feeds and/or written reports if necessary. Any subsequent anomaly (e.g., an explosion) after the launch will have no bearing on the outcome. Any name change of the satellite with another vehicle will have no bearing on the outcome of the market.

Recent delays in SpaceX Falcon 9 scheduling and integration with Intuitive Machines' Nova-C lunar lander have kept DOGE-1's targeted September 13-14, 2026 window under pressure, fueling trader skepticism despite the official mission site's active countdown. The crypto-funded CubeSat project, announced in 2021 as the first Dogecoin-backed lunar payload, carries a long track record of repeated slips tied to rideshare manifests and regulatory hurdles. Elon Musk's February 2026 comments hinting at possible 2027 movement add to uncertainty around final integration and launch authority approvals. Traders are watching the next 30 days for any confirmed hold or firm go-ahead that could shift momentum ahead of the narrow lunar alignment window.
