Spotify releases an annual report of its most streamed artist (see: https://newsroom.spotify.com/2025-12-03/wrapped-top-artists-songs-albums-podcasts-audiobooks/). This market refers to the most streamed Spotify artist for 2026. This market will resolve according to the name of the artist listed by Spotify as the top artist of 2026. If Spotify does not release who their top artist for 2026 is by January 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from Spotify, typically released as part of Spotify Wrapped. This market and these products have not been endorsed by Spotify. Bad Bunny's commanding lead in the Top Spotify Artist 2026 market stems from his sustained dominance in global streaming metrics throughout 2026, including over 127 billion career streams and consistent daily leadership as the most-streamed male artist early in the year. His February Super Bowl halftime performance triggered a 470% U.S. stream surge and 210% global spike, solidifying momentum that has kept competitors at bay. Drake, Taylor Swift, and Bruno Mars trail significantly due to lower year-to-date streaming velocity and fewer comparable platform surges, while emerging acts like Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell Roan remain hampered by smaller catalog depth. Traders are monitoring potential late-year releases or tours that could narrow gaps before final tallies lock in December.
