Titled Tuesday is Chess.com's weekly 11-round Swiss blitz event open to titled players, drawing fields of 400–500 participants with a $10,000 prize pool. Recent editions highlight consistent top performers including Hikaru Nakamura, who holds the all-time win record, alongside Fabiano Caruana's outright victory on October 13 during an off day from the U.S. Championship, Vladislav Artemiev's October 6 success, and strong showings from Wesley So, Nihal Sarin, Denis Lazavik, and Sina Movahed. Key variables shaping top-8 contention include current rapid form, participation of elite GMs versus rising talents, tiebreak implications in crowded 9-point groups, and any concurrent over-the-board schedule conflicts that affect availability or preparation. Historical patterns show multiple players often finish within half a point, making recent results and field strength central to assessing likely qualifiers.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed player finishes in the top 8 of Titled Tuesday on October 20, 2026, according to the final standings published by the tournament organizer. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If the listed player does not play, their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after November 3, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or final standings have not been published within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
