Strong growth in agentic workloads and adoption of low-cost large language models position OpenRouter token volume for the October 26–November 22 window well above 775 trillion. Recent platform data shows weekly totals exceeding 150–168 trillion tokens, fueled by AI agents that now generate roughly seven times the traffic of human users, with heavy prompt caching on models such as DeepSeek V4.1 Flash variants and GLM 5.3 Flash. New Claude 5.5 releases further lifted Anthropic share, while overall usage has risen more than 25-fold year-over-year amid expanding developer integrations and autonomous tooling. This momentum, visible in the latest weekly leaderboards, underpins the market’s 86.5% implied probability for the top band.
