The Los Angeles Lakers enter this NBA Cup group-stage matchup at Chase Center with a 4-1 record and strong offensive form, led by Luka Doncic’s return from back tightness after resting Wednesday. Los Angeles defeated Golden State 127-105 in their season opener and has averaged over 123 points per game while shooting efficiently. The Warriors sit at 2-3 but have secured consecutive road wins over Denver and Minnesota behind Stephen Curry’s scoring surge. Golden State’s depth is limited, however, with Jimmy Butler, Moses Moody, and Kristaps Porzingis sidelined long-term and Gui Santos doubtful. Ziaire Williams remains questionable for the Lakers. These roster and recent performance factors shape the current trader consensus reflected in the market.
