If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. The Pittsburgh Pirates (68-72) hold a clear edge over the Los Angeles Angels (53-87) entering their three-game series at PNC Park, driven by stronger overall offense, better home results, and fewer roster disruptions. The Angels enter with a dismal recent stretch, multiple key injuries including Nolan Schanuel (intercostal), Gustavo Campero (hamstring), and several pitchers on the IL, plus Josh Lowe listed day-to-day with neck stiffness. Pittsburgh’s lineup has posted higher batting average, on-base percentage, and slugging while ranking among the NL leaders in home runs and stolen bases. Probable pitching for the opener features Ryan Johnson (LAA) against a Pirates staff that has shown recent stability despite its own absences. With both clubs eliminated from serious contention, the matchup favors the home side’s depth and venue advantage in shaping implied probabilities.
