Jalen Hurts has thrown for 933 yards through five 2026 games with the Eagles, but a mid-October diagnosis of deep vein thrombosis and bilateral pulmonary emboli placed him on injured reserve. Treatment with blood thinners has ruled out all football activity for at least three months, effectively ending his regular season. The Eagles sit at 2-6 with Tanner McKee under center, and Hurts' prior games showed modest volume amid a struggling offense and multiple losses. With no realistic return window before the regular season concludes, additional passing yards appear unlikely.
