Selena Janicijevic holds the edge in trader consensus for this W50 clay-court opener due to her higher WTA ranking near 240 and greater experience at age 24 compared to 18-year-old Lea Nilsson at around 370. Janicijevic, a Serbian player competing on familiar home soil, brings 11 career ITF titles and consistent clay results, though her recent form includes early exits in Horb and Darmstadt. Nilsson, a rising Swedish prospect with strong junior pedigree including a 2025 US Open junior final, captured the W50 Horb title in July with a dominant clay run but lost her prior match at the Kursumlijska Banja W75 event. No head-to-head history exists, leaving surface-specific form, rest, and the younger player's upside as the main variables in implied probabilities.
