Etienne Donnet enters this M15 Monastir first-round matchup as the clear favorite, holding a substantial ranking edge (around 600-800) over 18-year-old Tunisian Mahmoud Chetouane (near 1600-1700). Donnet brings stronger recent hard-court results, including multiple ITF titles and a solid 2025 win rate above 65 percent on the surface, while Chetouane has posted mostly early exits and qualifier losses in Monastir events through mid-2026. With no prior head-to-head and both right-handers contesting outdoor hard courts in extreme August heat, Donnet’s greater experience and consistency shape trader consensus around his advancement, though Chetouane’s local familiarity offers limited upset potential in a low-level futures event.
