This is a polymarket on the winner of the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 13, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Spanish Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 20, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.” This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially listed in first place in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The Final Classification is typically released 30-60 minutes after the race ends and includes any applied time penalties and official adjustments. Disqualifications or changes made after the publication of the Final Classification will not affect market resolution. The timing of the podium ceremony does not determine the result for this market — only the FIA's published classification will be used to resolve this market. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
Kimi Antonelli leads the 2026 drivers' championship with a 66-point advantage after his dramatic Italian Grand Prix victory from 19th on the grid, yet the Spanish Grand Prix market remains tightly bunched because multiple frontrunners arrive with strong recent form and competitive machinery. Mercedes' pace advantage under the new regulations supports both Antonelli and teammate George Russell, while McLaren's resurgence behind Lando Norris—who has claimed consecutive wins—and Oscar Piastri keeps pressure on the leaders. Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc add further depth, especially on a new Madrid circuit where strategy, tire management, and qualifying execution could shuffle the order among the top six. Lower probabilities for Max Verstappen and others reflect Red Bull's current deficit, though any reliability issues or setup gains could narrow the gap in this high-stakes late-season round.
