This is a polymarket on the driver who achieves the fastest lap at the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 6, 2026. If the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 13, 2026, this market will resolve to "Other." This market will resolve in favor of the driver who is officially credited with the fastest lap in the Final Classification published by the FIA following the conclusion of the race. The fastest lap must be set during the race itself; times from practice sessions, qualifying, or any other sessions are not considered. If no driver completes a lap during the race (e.g., due to a red flag ending the race prematurely), this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.

Kimi Antonelli holds overwhelming trader consensus for the Italian Grand Prix fastest lap due to his exceptional pace advantage at Monza. Starting from 19th after a power-unit penalty, the Mercedes driver charged through the field with superior straight-line speed and tire management, pitting under a virtual safety car for fresh mediums that enabled repeated personal bests. He ultimately claimed the point on the final lap after passing teammate George Russell late in the race. Other contenders, including Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen, faced older tires or less optimal strategies amid the incident-filled event featuring a red flag and multiple lead changes. While late-race tire degradation, traffic, or unexpected safety cars could theoretically shift outcomes, Antonelli’s demonstrated single-lap pace and Mercedes’ Monza suitability underpin the dominant implied probability.
