This market will resolve to "Cleveland Guardians" if the Cleveland Guardians win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. The Cleveland Guardians enter Sunday’s home matchup against the Detroit Tigers as the consensus favorite, holding a 72-71 record and sitting 2.5 games behind the AL Central-leading White Sox while occupying the final wild-card spot. Detroit, at 65-77 and nine games back, has dealt with extensive pitching injuries that have thinned its rotation and bullpen depth. Recent series results show Cleveland taking both games of a September 4 doubleheader before falling 6-0 on September 5, when Riley Greene homered twice and Framber Valdez dominated. Probable starters Gavin Williams (13-7, 3.81 ERA) and Jackson Jobe (1-2, 4.63 ERA) underscore the Guardians’ edge in starting pitching and overall roster stability heading into the late-season push.
