Nora Cornolle enters this women’s bantamweight prelim at UFC Paris on September 5 seeking to snap a two-fight skid and leverage home-crowd support at Accor Arena, where she has previously competed. The 36-year-old French Muay Thai specialist (9-4 overall, 3-3 in the UFC) brings knockout power and an aggressive striking base but arrives off a rear-naked choke loss to Joselyne Edwards in February—following a unanimous-decision defeat to Karol Rosa—and a shoulder injury layoff. Opponent Klaudia Sygula (8-2, 2-1 UFC) carries momentum from back-to-back unanimous decisions over Irina Alekseeva and Priscila Cachoeira, giving the younger Polish fighter (age 27) a clear edge in recent form and recovery after her own UFC debut TKO loss. The matchup pits Cornolle’s experience and local energy against Sygula’s improved consistency and physical tools in a closely contested prelim bout.
